If you have planned on making a switch to vaping, you will soon come to know there are more options at vaping than at smoking cigarettes. When people start vaping there is one common question that they have, what level of nicotine should I start with?

Answering this question might mean the difference in between enjoying the experience of vaping and reverting back to older habits due to the bad experience. Here are some ways you will be able to get the things right while vaping.

Excessive Nicotine

When you take the first drag from the vape, you might experience excessive throat hit. This is a sign that means that you need to go with a lower dose of nicotine. An excessive throat hit does not mean that the e-liquid has bad qualities of better ejuice; it simply means that you have to reduce the level of nicotine.  If you smoke light but have chosen high nicotine strength then it might lead to nicotine overload in the body.

You will also get to know that the nicotine level is high when,

  • You get dizzy
  • You feel light-headed
  • While inhaling the back of your throat feels uncomfortable or burns
  • You experience a headache

If you experience the above symptoms then you have to reduce the level of nicotine.

Less Nicotine

Have you ever come across people who vape and also smoke cigarettes within the same time interval? They do this because of few reasons. One of the main reasons is that the level of nicotine is too low in the e juice. If you are accustomed to a certain level of nicotine then the low of nicotine in e-liquid can make people vape and smoke at the same time.

If you smoke heavily then you should opt for 24mg of nicotine and if you smoke lightly then you have to choose 12mg to 18mg nicotine.
